Overview
The Ascent Office project entailed the management and design of the entire office space by incorporating a blend of materials to achieve a modern industrial ambiance. Metal wall cladding, specifically Stratco Hiland Tray Custom Metal Cladding in a Matte Monument finish, was utilized to enhance the exterior facade. Additionally, the roof was constructed using the Smartspan profile in a Zincalume finish, ensuring durability and longevity. The integration of a variety of bricks alongside the metal cladding contributed to the creation of a contemporary workspace that exudes an industrial charm, aligning perfectly with the desired aesthetic vision.

"Council were very restrictive with their vision for showrooms in our area and likened it to a heritage precinct. We decided that we would embrace this opportunity and base the building on a heritage styled industrial building. We used a combination of materials to achieve this including bricks that had a recycled appearance and nail strip cladding to create a modern touch. To make the building Architectural in its aesthetics, we created a pattern in the Nailstrip cladding to create a "live edge' effect, where it stepped in and out and varied in widths. The finished result is even better than we had imagined and we constantly have drop ins from people eager to learn how we can create the same effect on their project."
