Sunshine Coast HIA Home of the Year

Ascent Building Solutions was contracted by a local builder to supply and install the new Colorbond® roofing for a high-end new build, located in the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The project received prestigious recognition, winning the Sunshine Coast Home of the Year at the 2017 Housing Industry Awards. The Stramit Longspan roof sheeting was chosen to provide an architectural style to the home. Due to the unique configuration of the roof frame, a custom-made Colorbond® fascia was required. Ascent undertook the design and manufacturing of the fascia, incorporating custom bracketry and accessories to ensure a seamless finish. Additionally, to accommodate the large volumes of water collected from the roof for rainwater tanks, 200mm ½ Round Colorbond® Guttering with heavy-duty external brackets was installed.
